What is a transparent touch screen?
A transparent touch screen is an OLED screen that displays content while letting you see what is behind it, and that you touch to interact. Black pixels switch off and become transparent, so the image seems to float in front of the real product.
How much does a transparent touch screen cost?
Expect €10,000 to €20,000 excl. VAT for a 55 inch transparent OLED touch screen, depending on configuration, 3D content and installation. Holovisio quotes every project on request, for purchase as well as rental.
Can you rent a transparent touch screen?
Yes. Holovisio rents its transparent touch screens for trade shows, product launches, pop-up stores and in-store operations. Rental includes delivery, installation and content creation. It is the simplest way to test the effect on your audience before buying.
What is the difference between a transparent OLED screen and a transparent LED screen?
Transparent OLED offers high definition images, an ultra thin design and a touch version: it is made to be seen and touched up close, indoors. Transparent LED is brighter and modular, suited to large facades and direct sunlight, but its image is less sharp.
Does a transparent touch screen work in a shop window?
Yes, behind a sheltered window or indoors. OLED is less bright than LED in direct sunlight, and behind glass it can no longer be touched. We study the location before each project to choose between window use and touch use.
